Palestinian groups and forces denounce the arrest of Sadaat

The Palestinian national and Islamic forces have stressed their rejection to the detention of Ahmad Sadaat the secretary general of the People's Front For the Liberation of Palestine by the Palestinian authority.
In a statement circulated following a meeting held by its leaders in Damascus, these forces said that the detention of Sadaat has negative impact on the Palestinian national unity, urging the Palestinian Authority to give up this measure because it only serves Israel and threats the Palestinian national unity.
The statement called on the Palestinian and Arab masses to voice solidarity with the Palestinian people Intifada so as to achieve the legitimate and national objectives of the Palestinian people.
Several Palestinian groups leaders stressed in statements following the meeting that this measure does not serve the Palestinian national unity and challenging the Israeli forces. They called for the release of Sadaat and continued Palestinian Intifada and all forms of struggle to restore back the national rights.
