Drastic conditions of Lahd hireling militia members in Israel
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 1/17/2002

Some 2000 persons of members and families of the hireling militias in south Lebanon who resorted to Israel before the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from South Lebanon asked for improving their living conditions in the region where they do live near Naharia settlement to the north of Israel.

The Israeli Hebrew - language radio quoted many of those militia members as saying that the Israeli government especially the ministry of the settlement treat them very badly despite the fact they had served in the lines of what was called the "southern Lebanese army" which gave huge services to Israel.

The radio added that large number of these Militia members especially children and women are greatly insulted on daily basis by the Israelis who ever describe them as " cheap hirelings."
