Al-Tureiki confers with Qatar, French officials

The secretary of the people's general committee for African Unity in Libya Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki has received a message from the foreign minister of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem al-Thani dealing with bilateral relations and the development of conditions in the Arab region as well as Islamic and international issues of mutual concern.
The message was transmitted by Qatar's ambassador to Libya Ali al-Hilal al-Muhannadi during his meeting with al-Tureiki on Wednesday in Tripoli.
On the other hand, al-Tureiki discussed with the French ambassador to Libya, French- Libyan relations and co-operation between the two countries towards the African continent, as well as Arab and international efforts of mutual concern.
The French ambassador expressed his country's satisfaction over the reconciliation agreement achieved at the patronage of Libya recently between the government of Chad and the opposition represented in the Chad's national movement for democracy and justice.
