One Israeli army officer, one settler killed

Groups of the al-Aqsa martyrs of the Fatah movement has announced the killing of an Israeli army officer working for the intelligence in Bethlehem after opening firing at him in an operation near " Maalee Adomim settlement."

In a statement issued on Tuesday following this operation the group said it will continue resistance against the Israeli occupation and retaliate its crimes against the Palestinian people.

Meantime, one Israeli woman settler was killed and another one wounded in an attack carried out by the Intifada men at the entrance of Gheifat Zeifi settlement near Ramullah.

As the Israeli occupation forces imposed a tough military siege at Toulkarem area in the West Bank under the pretext of receiving warnings of attacks against Israeli targets, some 10,000 Palestinian took part in the funeral of Raed al-Karmi, the commander of al-Aqsa martyrs groups who was assassinated by the Israeli forces on Monday, stressing continued resistance of the occupation.

The Palestinian official in charge of the local rule in the Palestinian territories Saeb Oreikat stressed the continued Israeli policy of killing and assassination against the Palestinians obstruct the chance to ceasing fire and start negotiations. He condemned the Israeli forces demolishing of Arab houses in Rafah al-Esaweyah and diplacement of their people.
