On the meeting between the Sudanese President, Garang

The Sudanese government has stressed that it has not received any proposals from Kenya on the convening of a meeting between the Sudanese President Omar Hammas al-Bashir and the leader of the rebels movement in South Sudan John Garang and that time is not proper to get involved into these details.

The advisor for the Sudanese President Ghazi Salah eddine said following the meeting held between the Sudanese President with the American envoy John Danforth on Monday evening that " even if we receive such a proposal we see that time is not appropriate at the meantime to convene a meeting with Garang at a time when the Movement and its chief ( Garang) is on the road of war and investing any chance to escalate such a war.
