Non-schooled children get 2nd chance
Morocco, Education, 1/15/2002
The Moroccan education ministry launched this month registration for non-schooled children or those who interrupted their education. Children, aged between 9 and 11, will be given a second chance to study as the ministry says it has made all arrangements to receive some 130,000 children from cities and rural areas this year.
The ministry says the move is part of efforts to generalize schooling.
