One senior Fatah official assassinated by the Israeli forces

The Israeli forces on Monday demolished 13 houses in Jerusalem and displaced their people and assassinated one of the al-Aqsa martyrs group in Toulkarem.

Meantime, the Israeli forces assassinated Raed al-Karmi, one of the officials of "al-Aqsa martyrs group" of the Fatah movement in Toulkarem after they placed an explosive outside in his house and had received a telephone call on the need to leave the house and then the explosion which claimed his life took place.

On the other hand, al-Aqsa martyrs group claimed responsibility for the attack which resulted in killing one Israeli soldier and wounding of two others near Nablus on Monday.

In a statement the group said that this operation came as a rapid and immediate response to the assassination of al-Karmi and the demolsihing of houses and displacing of people in Rafah.

In a statement immediately issued after the assassination of al-Karmi, the al-Aqsa martyrs group said that the cease fire has become null and void.

One Palestinian was wounded in Salem after he was attacked by one Israeli settler, while the Israeli forces launched a vast detention campaign in the territories of 1948 including several Arab-Israeli citizens under the charge of fighting terrorism.
