Burns visit Qatar

The ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani on Monday held talks with the US under secretary of state for the Middle East affairs William Burns dealt with several regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The Qatari News Agency said that Sheikh Hamad and Burns, who currently visiting Doha in the course of a tour covering several Arab states discussed means of developing relations between the two countries.
Burns on Sunday held talks with Qatar's deputy foreign minister Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jaber al-Thani dealt with the prevailing conditions in the Palestinian territories and latest developments in Afghanistan.It is scheduled that Burns will visit in his tour which will concentrate on terrorism- fighting issues, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
