Al-Assad confers with Arab League chief

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday at the Damascus al-Shaab palace received the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa. Al-Assad reviewed the multi- faceted Arab conditions and the solutions necessary for several already debated Arab issues and the efforts made to ensure the convening of the Arab summit at its due time and place and to reach a united Arab position towards the issues to be debated.
The meeting was attended by the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara.
