Mubarak discusses ME developments with US congress delegation

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on Sunday in Cairo discussed with members of the US Congress delegation latest conditions in the Middle East and the deterioration taking place in the region as a result of the continued grave escalation carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people.
The two sides discussed means of revitalizing the American role to calm down the deteriorated conditions in the Israel and to make Israel halt its aggressive practices against the Palestinians, and to revive the ME peace process according to international legitimacy resolutions on the ground of the role played by the US as a main sponsor for the ME peace process.
