Jordanian King to visit Washington by the end of January

The Jordanian dailies issued on Sunday said that the Jordanian King Abdullah II will by the end of the current month pay a visit to the US which will last for several days during which he will be meeting with the US President George Bush and deliver a speech before the World Economic Forum which will be held in New York.
Jordan's ambassador in Washington Marwan al-Maashar said in an exclusive statement to the Jordanian daily al-Rai that King Abdullah's talks with President Bush will deal with political and economic bilateral relations, conditions on the Palestinian territories and Iraq and the international campaign to fighting terrorism, led by the USA.
