Lebanon rejects American statements, Hizbullah party has no connection to weapons ship

The Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud on Friday rejected American statements which indicated that there is a link for the Hizbullah party to the ship seized recently by Israel and claimed it was carrying weapons for the Palestinian Authority.
In a statement to pressmen in Beirut on Friday, Hammoud called on the US to provide the evidence saying " there is principle in the international law makes it necessary for the one who accuses to give the evidence on his accusation."
For his part, the Lebanese minister of public works denied any link for the Hizbullah party to that ship.
