Lebanese government hands over a Kuwaiti to the American authorities

The Lebanese government on Wednesday approved an American request stated to hand over the Kuwaiti citizen Muhammad Hassan al-Hammoud ( has an American nationality) to the American authorities. Al-Hammoud is wanted by the American judiciary over financial and falsifying crimes.
The court of cassation in Lebanon had issued a warrant of arrest against al-Hammoud on November 23, 2001, at a hand over request from the American judiciary and made investigations in the crimes attributed to him. The Lebanese attorney general judge Adnan Addoum has sent a notification to the American authorities informing the decision of the American government to approve handing over al-Hammoud. He asked for sending a security team to transport al-Hammoud from Beirut, accordingly.
