French diplomacy prevented placing Hizbullah on EU terrorism list

The French news bulletin TTA which is concerned with strategic news said on Wednesday that the intensive efforts made by the French diplomacy had prevented placing the Lebanese Hisbullah party on EU terrorism list, issued by the European Union on December 28, 2001, noting that the British efforts to include the foreign branch of the Hizbullah party in this list were failed.
The Bulletin added that the French President Jacque Chirac responded to a request proposed by the Lebanese prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri after Damascus and Beirut vowed to preserve calm in Shebaa farms and Hizbullah to suspend all outer activities.
