Zinni arrived back in Washington

The US special envoy arrived back in Washington on Monday evening to brief the US secretary of state Colin Powell on the results of his visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories.
News reports quoted the US State Department as saying that Zinni will meet Powell this week and will return back to the ME region after one or two weeks.
