Jordanian prime minister stresses convening Arab summit at due time in Beirut

The Jordanian prime minister Ali Abu al-Ragheb has stressed the need of convening the forthcoming Arab summit at its set date in Beirut and to work for providing its works a success so as to strengthen common Arab work plan.
In a statement he made on Tuesday, the Jordanian prime minister said that talks between President Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan and the Jordanian King Abdullah II concentrated on the need to implement a common Arab act to withstand the Israeli aggressions so as to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital.
The Jordanian premier also stressed the need of resuming the peace process in the region, to halt the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people and to lift the siege imposed on the Palestinians.
