The Iranian president who was receiving Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, called all Islamic countries and people to support the unarmed Palestinian people against the Israeli oppression and end their silence over the state terrorism practiced by Israel.

Khatami also hoped Moroccan-Iranian relations will be developed "on the basis of mutual respect."
