Diesel fuel transport operations resumed from north Iraq to Turkey

The process of transporting diesel fuels from north Iraq to Turkey through the border al-Khabour gate crossing were resumed on Monday after it was suspended since September 18th, 2001.
The governor of Sharnaq district, southern east Turkey said in a statement on Monday that the amounts of fuel which will pass by trucks will not be the same as before because of the shortage the region suffers, noting that some 100 trucks will be permitted every day to cross the borders in the first phase.
