Syrian source welcomes the convening of the Arab summit in Lebanon
The Monte Carlo radio correspondent in Damascus quoted Syrian sources as saying that Syria has repeated its welcome to convening the Arab summit in Beirut in March as implied in the statements recently made by the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara.

The Lebanese paper " al-Kifah al-Arabi" said in its Saturday issue that the secretariat of the Libyan African unity has informed the secretary general of the Arab league officially to draw back its consent to convene the next Arab summit in Beirut and asked for holding it in another Arab country.
