African development banks extends moroccan airports authority 77.8 million euro

The African Development Bank (ADB/based in Abidjan) has extended the Moroccan airport Authority (ONDA) a loan worth 800 million DH (about 77.8 million Euro) to improve the Casablanca airport facilities.
The loan will co-finance the building of a new departure hall, for traffic with Europe, and a second landing runway and the extension of the radar coverage at the Casablanca Mohammed V airport.
ADB has previously financed two projects meant to develop Moroccan airports.
The loan will finance 53.74% of the project costs in hard currency. The project will cost 144.77 million Euro.
The loan agreement was signed by the ADB president, Omar Kabbaj, and the ONDA general manager, Mohamed Amal Guedira.
