Archaeological fort in northern coast

A Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) mission unearthed the remains of ancient military fort in Om Rakhm area in the northern coast. The remains are pieces of rosy granite with the name king Ramsis II inscribed on them.
SCA Secretary General Gaballah Ali Gaballah said a comprehensive survey is being conducted in the area.
