Palestinian ambassador denies kidnap of PLO member from Egypt

Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo Zohdi al-Qedra denied on Thursday reports that Gawid al-Ghasin, Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) executive committee member, was kidnapped in Cairo.
In statements to MENA, he ruled out as groundless these reports, adding that Ghasin came to Egypt on November 25 through Rafah checkpoint for medication in Egypt at the expense of the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Ghasin decided to go back to Gaza today after his condition settled down, the ambassador said, adding that he refused to be treated abroad.
Qedra denounced what Ghasin's daughter reported that her father was kidnapped in Egypt, adding that she wanted to treat him abroad but he refused.
