Morocco's FM to Visit Teheran Sunday
Morocco-Iran, Politics, 1/5/2002
Morocco's minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, is expected in Tehran on Sunday for a two-day official visit. Benaissa will be meeting Iranian peer, Kamal Kharazi, over bilateral issues and a set of other regional and international topics.
A statement of the Moroccan ministry of foreign affairs and cooperation says Moroccan-Iranian relations have considerably developed in the last years, especially after last year's visit to Iran by Moroccan premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi and the signing of a package of bilateral agreements.
The two countries ambition to increase the volume of their trade and consolidate cooperation between private enterprises.
