Reforming Syria judiciary sector

The Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am issued on Friday quoted Syrian sources described as well- informed that the new Syrian government will during the coming phase formulate several projects aiming at accelerating the process of modernization and reforms in various vital sectors especially the judiciary and the courts aiming at rehabilitating this sector which is under criticism to the extent that common legislation have been used in the wrong place.
The sources said that reforming the Syrian judiciary will be among the priorities of the government regarding the independence of the law, improving living conditions of judges through founding a fund to cash fees of filed cases so as to distribute the fund's revenues.
