Bahraini court suspends a sentence bans a journalist from writing

The Bahraini journalist Hafez al-Sheikh Saleh won a court verdict against a decision taken against him to be suspended from writing taken by the minister of information in Bahrain Nabil Yqoub al-Humor.
Minister al-Humor said that the ministry of information intends to submit the case to the court of appeal. On Wednesday the emergency issues court issued a decision provided for suspending the implementation of a decision taken banning journalist Hafez al- Sheikh Saleh from writing in " Akhbar al-Khaleej " ( the Gulf news), a Bahraini daily in which the said journalist is a columnist.
This case dates back to November 2001 when the ministry of information in Bahrain announced its intention to try the Bahraini writers Hafez al-Sheikh because of his articles which are " not in line with the ambitions of people towards conforming national unity." The ministry accused al-Sheikh of publishing articles that provoke sectarianism and criticism for the Shiite sect.
Worthy mentioning that this is the first time in which a minister tries a journalist in Bahrain.
