Zinni confers with Sharon

The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon on Friday in al- Negev met with the US special envoy to the Middle East Anthony Zinni. The meeting was attended by the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres and the Israeli war minister Benjamin Bin Aliazer.
The Israeli radio said that discussions during the meeting dealt with developments of conditions in the Palestinian territories, and other issues of mutual concern.
Zinni went on Friday afternoon to Ramullah to meet with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat.
