Qatari investment projects estimated at USD 19 billion

Qatar's minister of energy and industry Abdullah al-Ateyah has announced that the volume of investments will be USD 19 billion in the five coming years in the sector of energy which has been greatly booming in Qatar.
News reports quoted the Qatari minister as saying in statements issues on Wednesday by the Qatari daily al-Sharq that these investments will cover integrated and giant projects. He explained that his country provides huge exemptions and facilities to investors in order to attract their investments.
Worthy mentioning that Qatar, this geographically small oil producing country owns huge reserves of gas and is the third in the world in this regard following Russia and Iran.
