A forthcoming Gulf- Yemeni ministerial meeting

A Gulf diplomatic source in Sanaa said that a four- member meeting including three Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC ) ministers and the Yemeni foreign minister will be held within the few coming days in Muscat to discuss the new situation in Yemen's relations with the GCC.

The source said the meeting will include the ministers from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman during the few coming days with the aim of discussing the arrangements provided for Yemen's joining the three ministerial councils which Muscat's summit voiced consent for Yemeni related institutions to join.

According to the source the meeting will be limit to the three GCC states which were most enthusiast for Yemen's joining the GCC, but gave no mention to reasons why such meeting was not announced.
