Morocco's FM to visit Teheran this month
Morocco-Iran, Politics, 1/3/2002
Morocco's minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, will visit Tehran this month, probably on January 7, heading a large delegation, an official source told MAP correspondent in Tehran.
Benaissa will be meeting with top Iranian officials over means to consolidate relations between the two Islamic countries in several fields, particularly political, economic and cultural fields, says a statement of the Iranian foreign department.
The statement also says ancestral relations between Morocco and Iran, which share the same cultural concerns, have reinforced the will of the two countries' leaders to further develop ties and bring the two peoples together.
