King Fahd confers with chairman of the Iranian Shoura council

King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia on Monday in Jeddah received the chairman of the Saudi Shoura council Mahdi Karoubi and members of the accompanying delegation.
The Saudi news agency said that Karoubi conveyed to the Saudi King greetings and high appreciation of the commander of the Iranian revolution Ali Khameini and the Iranian President Muhammad Khatami.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi deputy minister of the Interior prince Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz, the chairman of the Saudi Shoura council Muhammad Bin Jubeir, the chairman of the royal court Muhammad al-Nweiser, high ranking Saudi officials concerned and the Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ali Asghar Haji.
