Moussa declares the postponement of the 'follow up' meeting until February

The secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa has announced that it was agreed between the 10 Arab foreign ministers, members in the Arab follow up committee to postpone the next ministerial meeting of the committee which was due on January 4 and 5 until the beginning of February. He said this is to give an opportunity for the consultations and to follow up developments especially in light of nearby Arab ministerial meetings.
In a press statement said that the decision taken to postpone the said meeting came at a proposal made by the Jordanian foreign minister Abdul Illah al- Khatib in his capacity as the chairman for the committee. Moussa said he had made consultations with most of the ten Arab FM s members in the committee and the postponement was agreed.
