Some 108 Greek parliamentarians call for halting the Israeli aggression

Some 108 Greek parliamentarians called on the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon to withdraw the Israeli occupation forces from the occupied Palestinian territories and to end all acts of hostilities against the Palestinians.
In a memorandum they signed on Thursday evening and handed to the Israeli ambassador in Athens David Samsoun, the Greek parliamentarians stressed the need of returning back to the table of negotiations and finding out a just solution to the Palestinian cause based on international legitimacy resolutions.
The Greek parliamentarians indicated that continued Israeli operations against the Palestinians will only result in further innocent casualties. They stressed besieging the Palestinian territories and continued attacks against the Palestinians would lead to further acts of violence and blood-shed in the Middle East region.
