Mubarak visits Rabat to co-chair Egyptian-moroccan higher committee on january

The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will pay a three-day visit to Morocco on January 11 to head Egypt's side in the Egyptian - Moroccan Higher Committee's fifth session while King Mohamed VI of Morocco will head the Moroccan side.

The committee meetings will be held in Rabat where three agreements will be signed on judicial cooperation, promotion of tourism and economic cooperation between the two states.

Meanwhile, the committee will discuss a proposal for setting up a maritime line that links Egypt and Morocco to cut costs of transporting goods.

President Mubarak will be accompanied by businessmen delegation who will hold meetings with their Moroccan Counterparts.

Furthermore, Moroccan Ambassador to Cairo Ali Oumlele said that a meeting between the two ministries foreign Ministery officials will be held on January 10,11 in preparation for holding the Higher Committee meetings.

He added that the two leaders will exchange speeches while having working dinner to be hosted by Moroccan King in honour of President Mubarak.

On the following day the two leaders will head the higher committee meetings and on the third day, protocols and agreements between Egypt and Morocco will be signed by foreign Ministers with the attendance of Mubarak and Mohamed VI.
