Lebanese president confers with Berri on internal conditions

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud has reviewed with the speaker of the Lebanese parliament general conditions in the country and current developments in the region.
Following the meeting, Berri explained he has informed President Lahoud with results of his visit to Syria and his meeting with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Berri added he had discussed with Lahoud the continued siege on south Lebanon and the suspension of re-building operations of the liberated villages in south Lebanon.
