A Jordanian- Kuwaiti free trade agreement

The Jordanian and Kuwaiti governments on Tuesday signed an agreement on free trade exchange which exempts all agricultural, livestock and industrial products of national origin from all customs fees and other relevant fees completely and constantly.

Jordanian official sources said the agreement which has become enforced after the completion of constitutional measures in the two states has kept several commodities that will be gradually exempted from fees along the three coming years until total exemption is attained.

On the Jordanian side, the agreement was signed by the minister of commerce and industry Salah eddine al-Bashir while the Kuwaiti side was signed by Salah Khoursheed the minister of commerce and industry who arrived in Amman on Tuesday evening leading a huge economic delegation.
