Spaniard arrested in Tangiers with over 600 kg of chira

The Police and customs agents in Tangiers arrested in a joint operation last Saturday a Spanish national in possession of 603 Kg of Chira (Cannabis resin). The Spanish man, a truck driver, was hiding the banned substance in his Spanish-registered truck. The truck was loaded with 24 tons of Moroccan tomatoes destined to the French market.
He confessed he was to hand over the drugs to a Dutch person in exchange for an unspecified amount of money.
