Floods in Settat: Death Toll Climbs to Eight

Floods that struck the central city of Settat has left 8 people dead, according to new figures released by the civil rescue department.
Among the eight victims, six persons were aboard an inter-city taxi that was swept as the taxi driver refused to heed warnings and preferred to go on with the trip. An 11-year old child was also among the victims.
Several houses collapsed in other Moroccan cities following the heavy rain of the past three days.
