A Somali peace agreement prepares for forming a provisional national unity government

The Somali provisional government and representatives for the Somali armed groups on Monday officially signed a peace agreement in preparations to forming a provisional national unity government in the presence of the President of Kenya Arab Moi in Nakoro, Kenya.
The agreement which stated the formation of a national unity government in Makadishu within a one month ensures a fair sharing of authorities among all Somali groups.
The agreement also states an immediate program to dismantle weapons and calls for the joining of other political activists now outside the peace process into it.
News reports quoted a document saying that the provisional national government and armed groups leaders of the Somali reforms and reconciliation council approved a 12 point agenda including sharing the authority and dismantling arm.
