Israel continues its attacks against the Palestinians

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday continued attacks against the Palestinians on the fall of the Christmas. Israeli tanks and artillery opened fire at the western camp of Khan Younis and the adjoining quarters and the bombardment resulted in destroying several houses. The Israeli F16 planes carried out several sorties in the airspace of Gaza.

The Palestinian youth Jamil Abu Atwan (22 year old) was shot by the Israeli settlers near " Anava " settlement to the east of Toulkarem and the Israeli authorities arrested seven Palestinians from kafer Makker village with in a campaign of arrest against Arab workers in the territories of 1948.

On Sunday evening, the Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians from Haifa under charges of planning for operations inside the city at a time when the Palestinian Authority arrested 10 prominent figures in the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in Gaza despite that the two movements halting the " suicide " operations at the request of the Palestinian Authority.

In retaliation, the Palestinian Intifada youths opened fired at a settler near " Shafi Shamroun" settlement to the west of Nablus, resulted in wounding him.

On Monday, the democratic front for the liberation of Palestine announced responsibility for detonating an explosive in one of the Israeli vehicles near " Natsareim " settlement to the south of Gaza and this resulted in destruction it and wounding of its occupants.
