Ukrainian foreign minister hands to moroccan peer message from president of ukraine to king Mohammed

Ukrainian foreign minister, Anatoli Zlenko, who started on Sunday an official visit to Morocco, handed this Monday to Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, a message from Ukraine president Leonid Koutchma to King Mohammed VI.

The two foreign ministers held this Monday a meeting on topical issues (situation in the middle east, terrorism, situation in the Maghreb) and other issues of common interest.

A special importance was given to means to consolidating bilateral relations and the need to enrich the legal framework regulating ties and economic cooperation.

The two officials decided to set up a joint commission.

Morocco and Ukraine also signed a trade agreement and an accord on reciprocal protection of investments.

Zlenko's visit comes after last September's visit by deputy-foreign minister, Vladimir Yeltchenko.
