Jerusalem Mufti stresses the need of continuing resistance

The preacher of al-Aqsa mosque Sheikh Ikrama Sabri, who is also the Mufti of Jerusalem has stressed the need of continuing the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Qabas issued on Sunday, Sheikh Ikrama stressed the Palestinian national unity and warned against the schemes of the terrorist Sharon aiming at preventing the foundation of the Palestinian state.
Ikrama also commended the efforts made by the Arab League in support of the Palestinian people and their just causes in confrontation of the continued Israeli escalation in the occupied Territories.
