Syrian- Iraqi trade relations promoted

Iraq's trade minister Muhammad Mahdi saleh on Sunday stressed during his inauguration of the Syrian products exhibitions at the Syrian trade center in Baghdad praised the trade and economic relations between the two states, noting that these relations have become an example to be followed.

In statements to pressmen, saleh said that the inauguration of the Syrian trade exhibition represents one of the key development phases in the relations between the two states.

For his part the chairman of the Syrian trade center said the exhibition includes the products of 66 private sector Syrian companies and 20 for the private sector.

He added the exhibited products include products of chemical, engineering and electrical industries as well private sector's produce.

The Syrian trade center is situated at one side of the International Baghdad Fair in al-Mansour district in Baghdad.
