Most Americans support the expansion of the current war in Afghanistan

An opinion poll issued by the US ABC news TV and the Washington Post on Friday said that the majority of the Americans support the expansion of the war declared by the US President George Bush against terrorism to launch a war against Iraq.
According to this opinion poll 61% of the people who cast their views said that the current war will not be a success unless the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein will be toppled, while 72% of them support that the military campaign will achieve this objective.
The opinion poll also revealed that three quarters who participated in the opinion poll supported striking suspected terrorist bases in Yemen, Somalia and Sudan.
