A German envoy in Lebanon to mediate for Israeli soldiers held by Hizbullah Party

The Lebanese daily Al-Safir said in its Friday's issue quoting well-informed sources as saying that a German mediator arrived several days ago to Beirut for the question of the Israeli soldiers held by the Hizbullah party and met with officials at the leadership of this party. The paper added that this was made at Israel's desire to revive negotiations concerning these israeli soldiers.

The sources also quoted the German mediator as saying that what is worthy attention is that Israel despite its announcement the death of its soldiers, yet it still speaks as if they are still alive and that the officials at the Hizbullah party did not confirm the death of those soldiers, rather still hide information about the Israeli soldiers held by them.

Meantime, member of the Lebanese parliament, member of the Hizbullah bloc at the Lebanese parliament Abdullah Qasir told the paper that Hizbullah's party's rejection to all tempting American proposals stem from its humanitarian, Arab and Islamic commitment to the central Arab cause. He noted that the Hizbullah party is not scared of the Israeli threats nor of the increasing pressures on it and the region, however, it takes these pressures seriously and is behaving with high wisdom towards them.

On the " reflex of muscles " carried out by the Israeli warplanes in the Lebanese airspace, al-Qasir said that Israel wants to sent a message to Syria and Lebanon, adding that the content of the message has arrived and the answer to it is known. He warned against getting targeted by the Israeli trap aiming at creating a civil war among the Palestinians.
