Israel continues detention campaigns and acts of arrest in the Golan

The Israeli authorities on Thursday continued the campaigns of arrests and detention against the Syrian citizens in the occupied Golan.
On Wednesday the Israeli forces arrested the Syrian youth Hamad Hussein Abu Zeid from occupied Majdal Shams town after breaking into his house during night, confiscated his privates and destroyed the furniture and electronic equipment.
During last week the Israeli forces carried out a campaign of arrests in the said village. The campaign targeted the two brothers Kamil and Zeid Suleiman Khater and Samih Salman Samarah under the charges of resisting occupation and taking part in national activities supporting the mother land, Syria.
Before Eid al-Fiter, the Syrian in the occupied Golan carried out a general strike in their villages and towns in confirmation of their commitment to their motherland Syria and in rejection to the decision taken by the Israeli Knesset to annex the Golan to Israel by the beginning of the 1980s.
