Yemen still chases al-Qaeda forces

An official at the Yemeni ministry of the Interior said on Wednesday that the police and army forces supported by helicopter are still chasing presumed members of al-Qaeda organization in Yemen.
News reports quoted a tribal source as saying that the clashes which took place in Tuesday in al-Houson village in Ma'reb province between the said forces and the tribes resulted in 17 killings including 13 soldiers and four of the tribesmen.
The Tribal source added that the confrontation also resulted in wounding 25 persons from the two sides. Stressing that 4 cars belong to the Yemeni army were destroyed.
