US pressures Yemen to further confrontation of al-Qaeda organization

Washington on Tuesday admitted it had practiced pressure on Yemen in order to increase its confrontation to members of the presumed al- Qaeda members in Yemen.
News reports quoted the US assistant defense secretary as saying that his country asked Yemen to make more pressure to this effect.
He added that he does not have details about this operation which was carried out by the Yemeni army and police forces which targeted a village to the east of Yemen to which presumed members of the said organizations resorted.
