Israel detains Serri Nuseibah

The Israeli forces on Monday detained Serri Nuseibah, the Palestinian official in charge of Jerusalem file in the Palestinian territories and other three under the pretext that they tried to celebrate Eid al-Fiter in one of the hotels of occupied Jerusalem The Israeli radio said that the detained persons will be investigated and then released.
On the other hand, the chairman of the municipality council Ehud Olmert considered that such a celebration in Jerusalem is a provocative step aiming at showing off that Jerusalem has two municipalities ( one for Muslims and the other for Jews).
However Ran Cohen, member of the Israeli Knesset for Mertis movement said that the order given by Ozi Landao, the Israeli minister of the interior to prevent the Palestinians from celebrating Eid al-Fiter in the city is considered an extremist provocative step towards the Palestinians and towards Nuseibah.
