Zinni to return back to the region after Christmas

Israeli sources said the US envoy Anthony Zinni will return back to the region after Christmas, noting that Washington does not have better choices more than continuing efforts to calm down conditions in the region. These sources indicated, according to the Israeli radio on Monday, that the US administration will shortly make an assessment to the situation in order to take decisions concerning next steps should be taken.
The sources held the Palestinian authority responsible for the failure of Zinni's mission.
