Morocco takes part in Yokohama congress on sexual exploitation of children for commercial ends
Morocco-Regional, Culture, 12/15/2001

Morocco will be represented in the 2nd international conference on sexual exploitation of children for commercial ends, slated for this Dec.17-20 in Yokohama (Japan).

Morocco will send to the conference a delegation led by minister of women condition, family and child protection and integration of handicapped persons. She will survey before participants from other countries results of the Arab-African regional forum on children exploitation held last October in Morocco.

Held by the Japanese government, the UN children Fund (UNIECF) and the NGOs group for the convention on children rights, the Yokohama congress is held five years after the first similar congress was held in Stockholm in 1996.
